Season in Review: 2018 Men’s Cross Country

Franklin & Marshall's men's cross country team delivered another strong season finishing 31st at the NCAA Mid-East Regional competition on Nov. 10, as well as a top-five finish at the Hood College Invitational on Oct. 13. 

Spencer Lyman '19 continued to lead the charge this year, finishing 72nd out of 357 runners at NCAA Regionals with a time of 27:49:00. The senior notched a season-best run at Hood on Oct. 13 with a 26:45.9 finish.

First-year Stephen Finck '22 was the second Diplomat to cross the finish line at Regionals, taking 195th with a time of 29:41:00. Finck tallied his best run at the Cathcart Invitational, hosted by Salisbury on Sept. 29, finishing 54th out of 129 runners with a 28:40.34 run.

Ryan Kiger '19 finished out his career with a dominant senior season. Kiger ran a career-best 28:37.3 race at the Hood College Invitational, taking the 25th spot out of 113 competitors.
