A Look at the Teams
Sunday's race will be the 26th all time. Haverford (No. 4 in Division III) has taken 22 titles during that stretch with only Dickinson (2008, 2009) and Johns Hopkins (2013) ever supplanting the Fords. The Blue Jays enter with the nation's No. 6 ranking, while Dickinson sits 24th.
F&M has found success throughout the year and will look to improve on an eighth-place (226 points) showing at the 2017 Championships. The Diplomats took home fourth out of 13 teams at the Hood Invitational on Oct. 13 earlier this year.
A Look at the Individuals
Spencer Lyman has led the Diplomats throughout the season. The senior has placed in the top-15 of every race with his best finish placing him fifth out of 113 runners at the Hood Invitational with a 26:45.9 race.
Lyman was F&M's top finisher at last season's CC Championships, taking 36th with a time of 27:51.
Haverford's Graham Peet and Ryan Herlihy return as the second and third-place finishers from last year, as well as All-CC First Team runners from a year ago, and are expected to pace the field.
Following the Conference Championships, the Diplomats close out the year with the NCAA Mid-East Regionals on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 12:00 p.m. The event is being hosted by DeSales in Center Valley, Pa.
