LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall will travel to Annapolis, Md. for the Navy Classic on Saturday, Nov. 19 for its first tournament action of the season. GoDiplomats.com sat down with head coach Mike Rogers to recap last Saturday's match at Drexel and preview the upcoming tournament.
The Diplomats are one of seven teams competing in the event. Other teams include Bucknell, The Citadel, Gardner Webb, George Mason, Navy and West Virginia. Preliminary rounds will begin at 10:00 am, with the semifinals set for 1:00 pm and finals at 4:00 pm.
All fans without a Department of Defense sticker on their vehicle must park outside of the U.S. Naval Academy grounds. Fans may park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium for $5 and take a shuttle bus to the Academy. Buses will run every 15 minutes starting one hour before each match and will continue running throughout the event.
Admission to the tournament is $7 for adults and $5 for students (18 and under).
