Franklin & Marshall's men's track and field team rounded out its 2018 campaign, taking ninth at the Centennial Conference (CC) Championships from May 4-6, with three podium finishes. 

Logan Lewis '18 solidified his spot as one of the top throwers in the Conference, taking gold in the shot put for the fourth straight year with a distance of 15.61m and winning the bronze medal in the hammer throw (44.91m). The senior thrower competed at the Penn Relays for the fourth year in a row in the shot put, recording a 14.88m throw to finish 37th amongst mostly DI competitors. Lewis closed out the year taking third in the shot put at the ECAC Division III Championships on May 17 after throwing a distance of 14.89m. Lewis was named to U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division III All-Region Team for the shot put. 

Tanner Erisman '19 also topped the podium for the Diplomats at CC Champs, taking silver in the javelin throw with a career-best distance of 58.82m. 

The Diplomats recorded their best finish of the year on April 27, taking third out of 11 teams at the Blue Jay Tune Up, hosted by Elizabethtown. F&M's runners delivered a strong performance with the 4x400 meter relay team of Spencer Lyman '19, Ryan Braun '21, Bryce Williams '19, and Harley Wedholm '21 finishing second with a time of 3:35.83. Lyman also finished third in the 800-meter run (1:59.13). 

F&M finished the year at the ECAC Championships from May 16-17, where along with Lewis' bronze, Erisman took second in the javelin (56.05m) and Lyman finished third in the 1,500-meter run (4:00.12).
