LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's men's track and field team closed out the indoor season at the Centennial Conference (CC) Championships, hosted by Ursinus from February 24-25, garnering 14 points for ninth place.
Logan Lewis '18 delivered a three-peat performance, taking first in the shot put for the third consecutive year with a toss, and season best, of 16.00m, which was good for 21st in the nation. Lewis collected five gold medals and one silver for the shot put, placing at every event he competed in.
The Diplomats posted strong performances in mid-distance and distance runs throughout the season. At the Blue & White Invitational, Spencer Lyman '19 took first in the 800 meter run with a 2:01.96 finish. Harley Wedholm '21 finished in the top spot of the 400 meter dash (54.50), and Noah Yadgaroff '21 led the mile run, finishing a full 4.5 seconds before his next opponent, with a time of 4:48.52.
Jabari Benjamin '18 and Ramon Williams '18 provided solid field performances as well. Benjamin took second in the triple jump at the Blue & White Invite with a season best of 12.03m while Williams' season best in the weighted throw (14.86m) was good for fifth at the Sunday Invite hosted by Cornell.
