F&M Rounds Out Regular Season at Blue Jay Tune-Up

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall men's track and field sent a portion of its roster to compete at Elizabethtown's Blue Jay Tune-Up on Saturday, earning a number of high finishes on the way to taking seventh out of 10 teams with 44 points. The meet serves as a final competition before the Diplomats head to the Centennial Conference (CC) Championships next weekend.

Top Performances

-A.J. Bates stormed to the win in the 110-meter hurdles, clocking a time of 15.77. He was the only competitor to finish with a time of under 16 seconds.

-The freshman notched another solid performance in the 200-meter dash, finishing in 22.86 to take third out of 16 entrants.

-Ryan Kozloski also notched a victory on the day, launching the javelin 54.68 meters to take first place out of 13 competitors. The senior won the event by more than three meters.

-Spencer Lyman led the way in the 800-meter run, taking fourth out of 16 with a time of 1:58.34. He was followed by Adam Caccavale, who took sixth in 2:05.52.
