LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's Ryan Kozloski and Brad Krell were named the Centennial Conference (CC) Track and Field Athletes of the Week, announced Monday by the league office. The honors were the first two earned by Diplomat athletes this season.
Krell was named CC Track Athlete of the Week for the second time in his career after winning the 400-meter dash on Saturday at the Dr. Jack M. Toms Open, hosted by Lynchburg College. His time of 51.50 was more than a second faster than his closest competition.
Kozloski garnered his second career CC Field Athlete of the Week award after turning in a pair of second-place performances. In the javelin, his toss of 50.61 meters earned him silver, while his effort of 12.09 meters also netted him runner-up honors in the triple jump.
The Diplomats return to competition on April 2, traveling to Gettysburg for the Little Three Meet.
