COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Ryan Kozloski's eighth-place finish in the triple jump paced Franklin & Marshall at day one of the Centennial Conference (CC) Indoor Track Championships, hosted by Ursinus. At the end of day one, which featured competition in the 5000-meter run, pole vault, triple jump, and heptathlon, the Diplomats sit in seventh place with one point while Johns Hopkins (50 points) occupies first place.
Kozloski was one of only two Diplomats to compete on the day, both in the triple jump. The junior's distance of 40'-2.25" was good for eighth place and one point. Tihomir Nedyalkov was the only other F&M competitor, taking 15th with a distance of 37'-05.25".
Diplomat participation picks up tomorrow when day two of competition begins at 1:00 p.m. tomorrow.
