Diplomats Compete at the Dutchmen Invitational

ANNVILLE, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall competed at the Dutchmen Invitational hosted by Lebanon Valley Saturday afternoon. The invite was a non-team scoring event and featured primarily Division III schools.

Evan Friend turned in the top time in the 55-meters with a time of 6.71 while Brad Krell finished ninth in 7.01 in the race the featured 37 participants. George Pekeshe placed in the top half of the 500 in 10th place with a 1:14.66 while Michael Hoffman picked up bronze in the 55-meter hurdles at 8:06.

In the field, F&M took second and third in the shot put with Damont Hardnett taking silver with a toss of 44'-06" and Vincent Acosta placing third with a throw of 43'-7.75". Bob McCarron was at the top half of the event with a sixth place (41'-5") finish. Ryan Kozloski finished third in the triple jump at 40'-11.5".

F&M returns to action on Feb. 7th at the East Stroudsburg Invitational.
