LA CROSSE, Wisc. - Nils Michaelis placed fifth in the finals of the 110-meter hurdles at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday, earning All-America status for the second time of his career.
Michaelis raced to a time of 14.78 to take fifth in the nine-person field. With the top-eight finish, Michaelis becomes the first-ever F&M men's track athlete to receive multiple All-America accolades.
Salisbury's Luke Campbell (14.43) edged Ryan Lopez-Jordan (14.44) of Marietta for the gold.
