LA CROSSE, Wisc. - Nils Michaelis advanced to the finals of the 110-meter hurdles with a third-place finish in Friday's preliminaries at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Michaelis crossed the finish line in 14.44, surpassing his season-low time (14.62) and matching the school and conference record that he set in 2011.
The F&M senior is one of nine runners to qualify for the final round and will need a top-eight placing to secure the second All-America honors of his career.
