F&M Takes First in Three Events

SELINSGROVE, Pa. -- Franklin & Marshall took first in three events at the Crusader Classic hosted by Susquehanna on Friday. The meet featured teams from multiple divisions and was a non-team scoring event. 

Mike Dohrmann took first in 60-meter hurdles with an 8.81. Luk Olenginski turned in the fastest time in the mile. Olenginski finished at 4:33.60 in the field of 20 while Tim Merlino crossed at 4:37.81.  Greg Olenginski had the top time in the 800-meter with a 2:02.89 while Greg Duckloe turned in a 2:04.99.

Ibrahim Kamera, Troy Harrison, Brian Rivera and Dohrmann made up the 4x200 relay team that finished second in 1:34.90.  Kamera took third in 60-meter in time of 7.36.  The 4x400 relay team of Dohrmann, Kamara and both Olenginski brothers had the second fastest time with a 3:32.28. 

Angelo Arce ran a 9:14.04 in 300-meter to place second.

F&M returns to action next Saturday. Some members of the team will travel to Bucknell while others will compete at Albright.
