LANCASTER, Pa. -- Franklin & Marshall scored 128 points to finish second at the Little Three meet Thursday. Dickinson won the event with 162 points and Gettysburg was third with 92.

Steve Barna finished third in the discus with a 120-00 and fourth in the shot put with a 39-00.50. Tim Tillman was second in the pole vault going 8-10.25 and won the long jump leaping 19-07. Nicholas Fromell finished second in the long jump with a 18-09.25. Fromell (37-08.5) and Tillman (37-03) later placed third and fourth in the triple jump.

Guileherme de Melo won the high jump with a 5-08.75 while Greg Duckloe earned four teams points finishing sixth in the 1,500.

Nils Michaelis, Tillman, Mike Dohrmann and Aaron Myers finished second in the 4x100 relay with a 44.07. Duckloe, Angelo Arce, Joe Strawitz and Ezra Rothman teamed to place second in the 4x800 relay.

Joe Strawitz and Rothman picked up seven team points with placing fourth and fifth in the 800.

Michaelis went on to win the 110 hurdles with a 15.28, the 100 meter dash with a 11.23 and the 200 in 22.92. Dohrmann was third in the 110 hurdles with a 15.90 and took first in the 400 hurdles with a 58.32.

Michaelis, Dohrmann, Aaron Myers and Tillman won the final event of the meet with a 3:30.33 in the 4x400 relay.

The Diplomats travel to Richard Stockton next weekend.
