POMONA, N.J. – Franklin & Marshall garnered 20 top-10 finishes at the 2010 Osprey Open at Richard Stockton College of New Jersey on Saturday.

Nils Michaelis finished fifth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.60. Kwaku Anno and Mike Dohrmann followed in seventh and tenth, respectively. Anno clocked in at 22.81 and Dohrmann at 23.18. In the 400-meter dash, Anno crossed the line in 50.59 for a fifth place finish. Ryan Bell took home seventh in the 800-meter run in 2:01.80.

Michaelis finished the 110-meter hurdles in 15.00 for second place. Dohrmann finished in fifth with a time of 16.55. In the 400-meter hurdles, Dohrmann finished in fourth place, crossing the line in 56.94, while Michaelis finished in sixth in 57.98.

The 4x100-meter relay team of Michaelis, Dohrmann, Time Tillman, and Anno took home second place with a time of 43.10.

Ezra Rothman earned third in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 16:30.12. Josh Wesalo came in a close fifth in 16:32.08. In the 1,500-meter run, Franklin Dekker placed fifth in 4:21.68, followed by Greg Duckloe in seventh (4:23.49) and Andrew Marra in eighth (4:23.86).

Francis Blancero finished second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 10:48.79.

In field action, Joe Strawitz took sixth place in the pole vault, clearing a distance of 3.35 meters. Anno finished the long jump with a distance of 6.09 meters for sixth place.

Christian O’Connor took home second in the hammer throw with a distance of 34.34 meters. In the discus Steve Barna threw for 34.76 meters for sixth place. Franklin Dekker claimed fifth in the javelin with a throw of 46.06 meters.

The Diplomats travel to West Chester on Saturday, Apr. 10.
