Millersville, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall men's track and field team traveled across town to Millersville for the annual Millersville Metrics meet Saturday afternoon.
On the track, Nils Michaelis won the 110-meter hurdles in a season-best 14.83 seconds. Mike Dohrmann finished third with a time of 15.84.
In the 400-meter hurdles, Michaelis and Dohrmann finished first and second, respectively. Michaelis clocked in at 56.25, followed by Dohrmann in 57.20.
In the 100-meter dash, Kwaku Anno finished third, crossing the line in 11.23 seconds. Anno took home second in the 200 with a time of 22.14.
With a time of 1:59.56, Ezra Rothman finished third in the 800-meter run. The men's 4 x 400 relay team of Rothman, Franklin Dekker, Joe Strawitz, and Angelo Arce finished second with a time of 3:34.39.
Off the track, Christian O'Conner finished fifth in the hammer throw with a distance of 121-05. Dekker threw a distance of 158-02 in the javelin for a tie for fourth place.
Anno finished second in the long jump, clearing a distance of 21-00.
The team also competed in the Penn Relays this week, the world's largest relay track and field meet. The men's 4x200 team of Michaelis, Dohrmann, Tim Tillman, and Anno, placed 45th with a time of 1:29.86.
The 4x4 team, comprised of Anno, Michaelis, Ryan Bell, and Dohrmann, finished fourth, clocking in at 3:24.88.
The Diplomats head to the Centennial Conference Championships on April 30.
