MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Lipton Thompson covered 100-meters in 11.11 seconds to edge out Millersville's Anthony Adamski by .01 seconds for first place at the Millersville Metrics. Thompson joined Kwaku Anno as the only Diplomats to capture their events at the predominantly Division II meet. Anno captured the high jump at six feet, giving him two inches on the field.
Anno finished second in the long jump with a mark of 21'-.75", .75 inches short of Cheney's Dominique Curry. Lucas Burbank also picked up a second place finish in a field event. His javelin throw of 189' was almost 30 feet better than the third place finisher, but 35 inches short of Christian D'Annible (Shippensburg).
Jared Pickell placed third in the 800-meter with a 2:04.17. Adam Malloy of Millersville clocked a 2:00.02 for the win. Ryan Bell crossed second in the 1,500-meter 1.06 seconds behind the Marauders' James McBride.
