F&M Falls to W&L in Season Opener

LANDISVILLE, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's men's tennis fell to Washington & Lee in a hard-fought 5-4 match to open the season on Friday evening at the Hempfield Rec Center.

The Diplomats dropped to 0-1 on the year while the Generals improved to 2-1.

By the Numbers

F&M got off to a strong start in doubles action with Adith Chandavarkar and Sam Bellersen tallying an 8-4 victory from the No. 1 spot while Andrew Pace and Tristan Steffe notched a 8-7 (8-6) win at No. 3.

Senior Zack Levin pulled out a 7-5, 6-4 win from the No. 3 singles spot.
