GREENSBORO, N.C. – Christopher Schiavone qualified for the 50-yard Freestyle finals at tonight's NCAA Championship, taking seventh after tying his personal-best time of 20.17.
Schiavone returns to the pool tonight for the finals of the 50-yard Freestyle, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Video and live results will be available.
Qualifying for tonight's finals ensures Schiavone will become F&M's men's first All-American since Tom Grabiak '10 in 2010.
Roger Gu (Tufts) finished with the top time, touching the wall at 19.77.
The 200-yard Medley Relay team of Alec Wahl, Timothy Gould, Brendan Cline, and Schiavone narrowly missed out on advancing, finishing 18th with a 1:32.08 mark. Kenyon's squad finished on top with a time of 1:28.90.
