CHESTERTOWN, MD. – Franklin & Marshall’s men’s swim team won its 18th consecutive Centennial Conference meet with a 121-69 win over Washington College on Saturday.

The Diplomats (2-0 CC, 2-2 overall) won eight of nine events to stroll to the win. The Shoremen fall to 2-2 overall and 0-2 in the C.C.

Peter Fishler won the 200 free (1:51.16) and 100 free (50.14) for the Diplomats and Conor Finnegan took a pair for F&M with a 10:35.71 in the 1,000 free and a 5:05.16 in the 200 backstroke.

Matt Jaffee placed first in the 500 free (5:05.16) and teamed with David Apple, Tom Grabiak and Zach Wilt in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:39.42.

Apple won the 50 free (22.66) and Eliot Scymanski swam 2:03.85 in the 200 butterfly.

The Diplomats return to action Dec. 5 and Dec. 6 for the F&M Invitational.
