Diplomats Overwhelm Engineers

LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall's No. 17 ranked men's squash team rolled to a 7-2 win over No. 22 MIT on Saturday afternoon in the Mayser Squash Courts on campus. 

The Diplomats improved to 2-1 with the victory while the Engineers fell to 4-2.

By the Numbers

F&M picked up four sweeps on the day, including a dominant 3-0 effort from Sanjay Jeeva at No. 2. Silvio Soom battled back from a marathon 20-18 loss in his opening game to take the next tree, while Yannis Senkel (No. 3) also overcome a loss in his opening frame to eventually secure a 3-1 win.

Series History 

The win on Saturday improved the Diplomats' winning streak against MIT to seven matches, dating back to the 1978-79 season. F&M is 11-1 all-time against the Engineers.
