F&M Dropped in 2018-19 Opener

LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall's No. 17 ranked men's squash team came up short in their 2018-19 season opener with a tough 9-0 loss against No. 6 Penn. at day one of the PA Cup.

The Diplomats dropped to 0-1 on the year and will face off against No. 18 Dickinson in tomorrow's Consolation match, while the Quakers improved to 1-0 and will battle No. 11 Drexel for the PA Cup Championship. 

By the Numbers 

Six of the nine contests were decided in three games. Sanjay Jeeva fought hard at No. 2, forcing four games after earning an 11-8 win in the second, while Ned Mylod (No. 5) and Aryan Parekh (No. 8) also played to four frames.
