F&M Falls Short in Summers Cup Final

HARTFORD, Conn. – Franklin & Marshall's No. 19 men's squash team came up just short to No. 17 Dickinson in the Collegiate Squash Association (CSA) Summers Cup Team Championship match, falling by a narrow 5-4 score on Sunday afternoon. 

The Diplomats season concluded at 5-15 while the Red Devils wrapped up their year at 12-8. 

By the Numbers 

With F&M trailing by a 4-3 score, Dickinson clinched the Championship with a come-from-behind 3-1 win at No. 7. Two of F&M's wins occurred in the top three spots of the order with Sanjay Jeeva (No. 1) fighting off a rally to capture a 3-2 victory while Yannis Senkel (No. 3) downed his opponent, 3-1.

Only three bouts were decided in three games, while a pair went the distance at five frames.
