F&M Falls Short Against No. 9 Drexel

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's men's squash team, ranked No. 16 in the country, battled No. 9 Drexel on the road Sunday afternoon, but came up short in an 8-1 defeat.

The Diplomats fell to 1-7 on the year while the Dragons improved to 4-6. 

By the Numbers 

Four of the nine contests went past three games, with a pair of matchups going to five frames. Yannis Senkel secured F&M's lone win at the No. 4 spot after fighting back from a two-game deficit to capture the final three frames.

Sanjay Jeeva went ahead 2-0 at the No. 1 spot on the ladder but was upended in three straight, while Frank Murray (No. 9) came back to tie his match at 2-2 with an 11-2 victory in the fourth before dropping the fifth game by an 11-9 tally.
