Series History: Franklin & Marshall travels to Eastern on Tuesday, facing the Eagles for just the fourth time in program history and the first since 2002. Despite the long gap in play, these two programs are intimately familiar with one another as current Diplomat assistant coach Mark Wagner was the head coach at Eastern for 19 seasons.
Since Centennial play began, the Diplomats hold a 21-3-1 record against the Ursinus and have lost just once in the last 19 contests dating back to 1997.
In the Rankings: The Diplomats' strong start to 2018 continues to be recognized nationally with a leap to the No. 5 ranking in the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III poll, up six spots from the previous week.

Last Week: The Diplomats remained unbeaten in 2018 with a 1-0-1 week, topping Dickinson by a 2-0 score on the road Wednesday and following with a 2-2 2OT tie against Swarthmore at home on Saturday.
Against Dickinson, Connor Whitacre (12th minute) and Steven Yakita (64th minute) notched the F&M markers while goalkeeper Christopher Amoruso registered his third shutout of the season with a four-save performance.

Against Swarthmore, the Diplomats were trailing by a 2-1 score in the 89th minute before Robert Maze registered the equalizer to force overtime. F&M was unable to convert on a flurry of scoring chances in extra minutes as the Diplomats were forced to settle for a tie.
Among the Leaders: Jim Connolly sits atop the CC leaders in assists with five, followed by Ugo Okolie and Max Geuder in a tie for second with three each. Connor Whitacre is tied for fourth in points with 10 and is tied for third in goals with five, while Alex Lalovic sits alone in ninth with eight points and eighth with four goals.
In net, Christopher Amoruso's .821 save percentage ranks second, while his 0.65 goals against average is also second.
As a team, the Diplomats place second in goals scored per game with a 2.63 average, while F&M's 0.76 goals against average is also second.
Record Book Watch: Okolie continues to climb the ranks of the program's career assists leaders and now places in a tie for fourth with 18. Brandon Corday '07 leads the program with 25. Fincher and Connolly are close behind in 12th place with 14 helpers each in their careers.
Robert Maze is 10th in career game-winning goals with four as Beaver also tops that list with 20 in his career.
Goalkeeper Christopher Amoruso broke the top-10 for career shutouts with eight. Zach Zamek '10 holds the record with 25.
Spreading the Wealth: As a team, the Diplomats place 36th in the nation in assists per game with a 2.2 average.
Impressive Start: The Diplomats' 8-0-2 record to open 2018 is F&M's best start to a year since 2015 when the Diplomats began the season at a remarkable 14-0. F&M is one of just 18 teams in Division III that have yet to surrender a loss.
Defending the Home Turf: F&M is 7-0-2 in its last eight games at Tylus Field, an unbeaten streak that dates back to Oct. 3, 2017. The Diplomats haven't dropped a CC game at home since Oct. 31, 2015, holding an 8-0-3 record in their previous 10 Conference contests in Lancaster.
