Series History: Franklin & Marshall travels to rival Dickinson on Wednesday for the 72nd all-time meeting with the Red Devils. The contest will serve as a rematch of last year's Centennial Conference (CC) Championship that saw Zach Colton's 66th-minute penalty kick deliver the Diplomats their second-ever CC Crown with a 1-0 win in Baltimore.

Swarthmore comes to town on Saturday as F&M looks to improve on a six-game winning streak over the Garnet. The Diplomats have not lost to Swarthmore at home since the 2012 season. 

In the Rankings: The Diplomats' strong start to 2018 continues to be recognized nationally with a No. 11 ranking in the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III poll. F&M moved up one spot from last week's standings.

Last Week: F&M remained unbeaten on the year with a 2-0 week, shutting down William Paterson by a 3-0 score on the road Wednesday, and following with a 2-1 OT thriller over Haverford on Saturday.

Against William Paterson, Ryan Fincher (35th minute) and Ugo Okolie (46th minute) lit the scoreboard for the Diplomats, while an own goal in the 65th minute sealed the deal for F&M. Goalkeeper Sebastian Jenkins improved to 3-0 on the year with his third career shutout, registering four saves on the game.

Against Haverford, freshman forward Steven Yakita picked an opportune time to register his first-career goal, heading a long cross from Max Geuder into the back of the net for 96th minute winner.

Among the Leaders: Jim Connolly sits atop the CC leaders in assists with five, while his seven points are tied for eighth. Alex Lalovic is tied for sixth in points with eight, while his four goals are tied for second. 

In net, Christopher Amoruso's .813 save percentage ranks second, while his 0.55 goals against average is also second. 

As a team, the Diplomats place second in goals scored per game with a 2.63 average, while F&M's 0.76 goals against average is also second.

Record Book Watch: Okolie continues to climb the ranks of the program's career assists leaders and now places sixth with 17. Brandon Corday '07 leads the program with 25. Fincher and Connolly are close behind in 12th place with 14 helpers each in their careers. 

Robert Maze is 10th in career game-winning goals with four as Beaver also tops that list with 20 in his career. 

Goalkeeper Christopher Amoruso broke the top-10 for career shutouts with seven. Zach Zamek '10 holds the record with 25.

Spreading the Wealth: As a team, the Diplomats place 35th in the nation in total assists with 18. Montclair St. leads Division III teams with 26 helpers. Individually, Connolly placed 14th among all players with his five assists. 

Impressive Start: The Diplomats' 7-0-1 record to open 2018 is F&M's best start to a year since 2015 when the Diplomats began the season at a remarkable 14-0. F&M is one of just 18 teams in Division III that have yet to surrender a loss.

Defending the Home Turf: F&M is 7-0-1 in its last eight games at Tylus Field, an unbeaten streak that dates back to Oct. 3, 2017. The Diplomats haven't dropped a CC game at home since Oct. 31, 2015, holding an 8-0-2 record in their previous 10 Conference contests in Lancaster.
