LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's Chase TenBrook was named the Centennial Conference (CC) Offensive Player of the Week for men's soccer, announced Monday. The honor is TenBrook's second of his career, after last earning the distinction on Oct. 28, 2013, and the third of the season for the Diplomats.
TenBrook netted a pair of scores in No. 6 F&M's 4-1 bashing of Haverford on Saturday at Tylus Field. The win was the Diplomats' first over the Fords since 2011, snapping a three-game slide in the series, and improved their record to 14-0-1, 7-0 CC.
The junior midfielder leads the team and is tied for fourth in the conference with eight goals on the year. TenBrook has accumulated 19 points through the team's opening 15 contests, which is tied for second in the CC.
The Diplomats return to action on Wednesday, hosting Gettysburg for a 7:00 p.m. matchup. F&M can secure the number-one seed and home field advantage in the upcoming CC Tournament with a win over the Bullets and a Dickinson loss to Muhlenberg on Wednesday.
