Playoff Outlook

Franklin & Marshall and Gettysburg sit tied atop the Centennial Conference (CC) standings at 5-1, with F&M holding the tiebreaker over the Bullets. Ursinus and Dickinson follow at 4-2, with the two teams facing each other over the final weekend of the regular season. With one win this week, F&M will clinch its fourth-straight CC Tournament appearance. If the Diplomats defeat both Dickinson and Muhlenberg, F&M would secure the top-seed in next week's playoffs.

Senior Day

Prior to the start of Saturday's game, F&M will honor its 11-member senior class of George Briggs, Chris Brindisi, Stephen DeSimone, Sam Garges, Scott Hatch, Ellis Llewellyn, Shane McBride, Tucker McBride, Tommy O'Connor, John Sommi, and Daniel Zlevor.

Series History

F&M opens the week with a crucial CC matchup against Dickinson on Wednesday. While the Diplomats own a 48-22 overall edge, the Red Devils stole both contests last season.

The Diplomats close out the regular season on Saturday, looking to remain unbeaten against Muhlenberg when playing in Lancaster and have a 26-3 overall series advantage.

F&M dropped a spot in the national rankings, sitting now at No. 16. Gettysburg leads the Centennial schools at No. 9 while Ursinus ranks 13th and Dickinson sits 15th.

Records Watch

  • Junior Kevin Mollihan now needs only 16 goals to become the all-time scoring leader in program history. With 52 goals so far on the season, he also is nearing his own single-season record of 62.
  • Luke Keating now has 102 career goals and is one of only 14 Diplomats to accomplish the feat.
  • Tommy O'Connor (178) is fourth all-time in ground balls, Ellis Llewellyn (126) has entered the top-10 in career ground balls, joining Jarrett Donaghy (143). Andrew Setian owns the record with 232.
  • George Briggs climbed up another spot in the assists rankings and is tied for fifth all-time with 93.

F&M Last Week

Led by 10 points from Kevin Mollihan, F&M tallied an 18-10 victory in its lone game of the week against Washington on Saturday. Recap.

Last Time We Met Dickinson

Luke Keating paced the offense with five goals, while Sean Rogers and Kevin Mollihan had two scores and an assist each. George Briggs scored once and handed out three assists, while Jarrett Donaghy and Read Ziegler both ended with a goal and an assist. A.J. Rigsby and Harry Rice both scored once for F&M.

Tommy O'Connor caused four turnovers and had three ground balls to lead the defense and Erich Della Volpe caused three turnovers for the Diplomats.

F&M led in shots 49-34, but the Red Devils held a 32-23 edge in ground balls and won 25-for-37 faceoffs.

Last Time We Met Muhlenberg

Luke Keating led the offense with five goals and two assists, Kevin Mollihan had three scores with one helper and Sean Rogers ended with two goals and an assist. A.J. Rigsby, Harry Rice, Jarrett Donaghy and Kip Wyrough all struck once while George Briggs added two assists and Shane McBride along with Nick Crennan and Donaghy all handed out an assist.

Tommy O'Connor caused five turnovers with five ground balls and Erich Della Volpe ended with two caused turnovers. Thomas Moore turned away nine shots in goal.

F&M had a 40-27 edge in shots, but Mules led 32-29 in ground balls and had a slight 14-for-26 lead in faceoffs.
