Series History

F&M battles Gettysburg for the 65th time on Wednesday with the Bullets holding a 40-24 series edge. However, the Diplomats have won two of the previous three meetings. F&M hosts Haverford on Saturday and faces the Fords for the 33rd time, holding a 22-10 edge.

Rankings

F&M dipped a few spots to 19th from its No. 17 ranking last week, but still maintained their place in the nation's top-20 poll. Three other teams represent the Centennial Conference in the national rankings, with Gettysburg at No. 7, Ursinus at No. 9 and Dickinson at No. 10.

Defensive POTW

Tommy O'Connor was named the Centennial Conference (CC) Defensive Player of the Week for men's lacrosse.

O'Connor registered three caused turnovers with seven ground balls in F&M's 17-7 win over Swarthmore Saturday afternoon. O'Connor and the Diplomat defense held the Garnet to their lowest scoring output of the season and nearly seven goals below their scoring average in the victory.

Records Watch

  • Junior Kevin Mollihan overtook the No. 2 spot in the F&M all-time ranking for goals scored, passing Jeb Barrows (152 goals). Mollihan now has 158 and is 35 goals away from becoming the record-holder in program history.
  • Senior George Briggs tallied his 82nd career assist last week and now sits at ninth all-time in program history.
  • Sophomore Luke Keating has entered the F&M top-25 in career goals scored with 77.

Last Time We Met Gettysburg

Kevin Mollihan led all scorers with five goals and handed out an assist. Luke Keating finished with three scores and a pair of helpers while Sean Rogers picked up the hat trick. Harry Rice had a goal and two assists, George Briggs added two assists and Tucker McBride finished the game with one dime.

Scott Hatch took the loss with four saves while the Bullets' Tim Brady had nine.

Gettysburg held a 41-33 edge in shots and had a slight 16-of-30 edge in face-offs.

Last Time We Met Haverford

Kevin Mollihan finished with two scores and four helpers, Luke Keating netted five and Jarrett Donaghy finished two goals. Sean Rogers had a goal and an assist while A.J. Rigsby and Ellis Llewellyn both scored once.

Tommy O'Connor paced the defense with four caused turnovers and Read Zeigler finished with two. Andrew Rose went 19-for-26 from the X and collected six ground balls for F&M. Thomas Moore started in net and turned away 10 shots.

F&M outshot Haverford 40-32, held a 30-28 edge in ground balls and went 11-for-15 on clear attempts.
