The Diplomats got off to a hot start with a 3-0 record in the month of February, including a 20-9 win over Frostburg State to opening the newly-minted Shadek Stadium. F&M started out March with a 2-1 mark after three two-goal games, before finishing the month strong by winning four of the five remaining games. F&M continued its streak into the final month with three straight Centennial Conference (CC) victories and closed out the regular season with a 14-8 win over Muhlenberg.

F&M ended the regular season with a 6-2 mark in CC action and earned a trip to the playoffs for the fifth time in the last six years. The Diplomats faced Dickinson the semifinals and closed out the game with five unanswered scores, but ran out of time, and fell a goal short to Dickinson, 17-16, to end their season.

F&M's potent offense put together the second-most productive season in program history with 248 goals. The unit was led by Sean Rogers '18 and Kevin Mollihan '20. Rogers became just the second player in program history to tally 250 or more points and left Lancaster ranked second in school history in both points (262) and assists (117), and third with 145 goals. He is only the second player in program history to earn All-America honors three times and landed on the All-CC First Team for the third consecutive season, becoming just the 28th player in the history of the league to accomplish that feat. Mollihan was named the CC and IMCLA Mid-Atlantic Region Offensive Player of the Year after finishing second in the CC in goals (62) and points (76).

The pair joined George Briggs '19, Harry Rice, Tommy O'Connor '19 and Luke Keating '21 on the USILA All-America team, bringing F&M's total to 55 All-Americans, and marking the sixth consecutive year a member of the Diplomats made the list.
