Series History: F&M takes on Dickinson on Wednesday for the 70th time in program history. The Diplomats own a 48-21 lead in the series, including victories in the last three of four meetings. Dickinson won the regular season matchup last week.
F&M in the Tourney: The Diplomats are making their ninth trip to the CC Tourney with appearances in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017. F&M has advanced to the CC Finals in 2013 and 2014, before breaking through last season to win its first-ever CC Crown.
2018 Tournament Lineup: Haverford is heading back to the Tournament for the first time since 2011. Gettysburg made its 19th consecutive appearance in the CC tournament and has won 15 Centennial Conference Championships, including 10 since the conference started using a postseason playoff to determine the champion in 2001. Dickinson appears in the playoffs for the second straight year, after missing the cut in 2016.
Rankings: F&M dropped to No. 13 in the latest coaches poll. Gettysburg (3rd) and Dickinson (9th) also represent the conference in the weekly poll. RIT remains at the No. 1 position. Complete poll.
Records Watch: Sean Rogers enters the week with 259 career points and became just the second player in program history to reach 250 points. Rogers has 143 goals, which place him third on the all-time list, while his 116 assists are second. Chris Mergardt '96 (192 goals) and Jon Dale '90 (218 assists) hold the top spots in those respective categories.
Around the Conference: Heading into the playoffs, members of the Franklin & Marshall team rank in the top-5 in multiple statistical categories around the Centennial Conference. Kevin Mollihan (60) and Luke Keating (50) are first and third in goals, while Sean Rogers leads the CC with 32 assists. Mollihan (73), Keating (67) and Rogers (66) are first, fourth and fifth, respectively, in points. Tommy O'Connor is tied for second with 33 caused turnovers.
The Diplomats lead the conference in goals (232), caused turnovers (148) and sit second with 517 ground balls.
Last Time We Met Dickinson: No. 12 Dickinson defeated No. 10 Franklin & Marshall 11-9 in men's lacrosse action last Wednesday evening. Full recap.
Kevin Mollihan paced the offense with four goals and two helpers, while Sean Rogers and Luke Keating both finished with a pair of goals and one assist. Harry Rice struck once and Tucker McBride, along with George Briggs, both ended with an assist.
Thomas Moore had 10 stops and fell to 4-1, and Cole Pelicano finished with 21 saves to improve to 10-3.
F&M owned shots at 49-33, and the Red Devils held a 39-25 in ground balls.
