LANCASTER, Pa. – After securing the program's first Centennial Conference (CC) Championship on Saturday, the No. 12 Franklin & Marshall's men's lacrosse team makes its way back into the NCAA postseason for the first time since 2003 and fifth time in history. The Diplomats learned their journey this evening and will open with their first game on Wednesday, May 10, hosting Elizabethtown at Tylus Field.

F&M earned one of the 24 Pool A automatic bids after securing the program's first Centennial Conference (CC) Championship with a 9-8 overtime win over Gettysburg on Saturday at Tylus Field. The Diplomats are making their fifth NCAA appearance and first since 2003. F&M went 1-1 in that 2003 Tournament, downing Lynchburg in overtime by a 13-12 score before falling to Salisbury in the next round.
With an additional two teams being added to this year's field, two, single elimination first round games will be conducted on Tuesday. The Second Round begins on Wednesday with 16, single elimination games that will be conducted at campus sites. Second Round winners from Wednesday advance into Saturday's Third Round, which will feature eighth, single elimination games at campus sites.
The Quarterfinals are set for Wednesday, May 17 with four, single elimination games at campus sites for a chance to compete in the Semifinals on Sunday, May 21, also at campus sites. The final two teams will take part in the National Championship game on Sunday, May 28 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., with a 5:00 p.m. start.
