ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Justin Lankler led Franklin & Marshall to a third-place finish at the two-day Kravetz Invitational hosted by Rochester on Friday and Saturday at the Oak Hill Country Club. The Diplomats ended at 621 (298-323) in the six-team event. Emory took first at 606 (298-308) followed by Ohio Wesleyan with a 620 (308-312).
Lankler had a 72 in round one and finished today at 79 for a 151 and tied for third. Ohio Wesleyan's Dominic Caminiti took medalist honors with a 145.
Ben Mitchell fired rounds of 72 and 82 for a 154 and tied for sixth in the 40-player field. Seiichiro Nakai had a 76 and 79 and tied for ninth, while Kevin McGloin and Steve Nicholas tied for 21st. McGloin had rounds of 79 and 83 and Nicholas carded a 78 and 84 for 162.
F&M returns to action in two weeks at the three day Centennial Conference Championship held at the Brookside Country Club.
