Diplomats Tie for Fifth at Hershey


HERSHEY, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's men's golf team tied for fifth at the Hershey Cup, hosted by Rochester. The second round of the event was canceled due to inclement weather, leaving the first round scores as the final scores. The Diplomats finished with a total of 311. Kenyon took the top spot with 299. 

Ben Mitchell led the Diplomats, finishing tied for third with a round of 74. Justin Lankler followed in a tie for ninth after shooting a 76 on the day.

Seiichiro Nakai came in tied for 40th with 80 on the par-71, 7,601-yard course. Steve Nicholas came in a stroke behind at 81 to tie for 55th. Jason Koshinski's 82 tied for 63rd out of 84 players.

F&M returns to action Saturday, April 7 at the two-day McDaniel Spring Invite slated to take place at the Bridges Golf Club.
