DELAWARE, OHIO - Franklin & Marshall competed at the Gordin Collegiate Classic hosted by Ohio Wesleyan in men's golf action over the weekend at the Delaware Golf Club. The event was held on Sunday and Monday and featured three rounds, two on Sunday and one on Monday. The Diplomats finished 12th with a total of 910 (294-305-311) while Huntingdon took the team title at 847 (279-272-296).
Brad Lankler led the way for F&M with a 17th-place finish. He had rounds of 69-74-78 to finish at 221. Centre's Carson Riley claimed medalist honors with a three-round total of 208.
Justin Lankler placed 36th in the 60-player field at 228 (74-80-74) while Stephen Colodny carded rounds of 75-74-81 on the par-71, 6,562-yard course. Kevin McGloin figured into the team scoring with a 236 (76-77-83) and Jon Meissner ended with a 240 (78-84-78).
F&M returns to action on Saturday at the two-day McDaniel Fall Invitational held at the Bridges Golf Club.
