ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall sits in second place after 18 of 54 holes at the 2016 Centennial Conference (CC) Men's Golf Championship Friday. The Diplomats finished at 303, just two strokes behind tournament leader Swarthmore (301). McDaniel is third at 304 and Muhlenberg finished at 314 for the fourth-best score of the day.
Daniel Furman and Jon Meissner find themselves in a five-way tie for second after carding a two-over 74 at the Bridges Golf Club. Muhlenberg's John Froberg finished at 73 and currently leads the field of 35 golfers.
Play resumes tomorrow with another 18 holes with the final round scheduled for Sunday. F&M's first player tees off at 12:40 p.m. with the last Diplomat getting started in the final group at 1:20 p.m.
