LANCASTER, Pa. – Jared Brown tied for second to pace the Franklin & Marshall "White" Team to a sixth place finish at the F&M Fall Invitational Monday afternoon. Brown found himself in a three-way tie for first, but York's Kevin Long edged out Brown and David Boslough (York) on the tiebreaker to win the event.
York won the invite with a 302 followed by Messiah (306) and the F&M "Blue" Team (307) in the 19-team event. The "White" Team finished in sixth at 315.
Daniel Furman led the "Blue" team with a 75 to place ninth in the 97-player field. Brad Lankler carded 76 (12th) with Stephen Colodny finishing at 78. Henry Richards finished in 17th place at 78 and Dave Gilbert rounded out the "Blue" team with an 81.
Steve Altieri played as an individual and ended with the fourth best score from a Diplomat at 77.
F&M returns to the course next Monday at the Muhlenberg Invitational.
