F&M Fourth at Spring Invite

LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall White Team tied for fourth at the F&M Spring Invitational Monday afternoon at Bent Creek Country Club. The team finished at 309, tied with Messiah, with Albright (300), Dickinson (304) and Stevenson (307) finishing ahead. The F&M Blue Team tied Rutgers-Camden for eighth in the 18-team tournament.

Andrew Gladstone led the way for the Diplomats with a fourth-place 74 on the par-71, 6,158-yard course. Anthony Rusnak from Alright took the top spot with a two-under 69.

Jin Hwang and Harry Russell both carded 78 and finished in the 20th spot while Jesse Zorfas (79) and Zach Bereznak (80) rounded out the group.

Robert Svigals placed eight at 75 to pace the Blue Team. Dave Gilbert shot 78 while Daniel Furman finishing with an 81. Jeremy Rubin tallied 82 with Henry Richards right behind at 83. Maxwell O'Connor turned in a 91 on the day.

F&M returns to action on Apr. 23rd at the Messiah Invitational before starting the three-day Centennial Conference Championship on the 26th.
