F&M Takes Second

LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall tied for second at the F&M Fall Invitational on Monday. The F&M Blue Team finished at 301, seven strokes behind Alvernia, and tied Penn State Harrisburg while the F&M White Team carded 315 to place fifth at Bent Creek Country Club. 

Daniel Furman led the way for F&M with 74 on the par 71, 6,158-yard course. Alvernia's Brett Fernades took the individual title with a one-under 70. Henry Richards and Robert Svigals both finished with 74 in the 83-player field.  Both Dave Gilbert and Jeremy Rubin carded 77 for the F&M Blue Team.

Jin Hwang finished with a four-over 74 to pace the White Team while Andrew Gladstone took 19th with a 76. Harry Russell and Jesse Zorfas each finished at 82 while Pritam Haridass (93) and Maxwell O'Connor finished up for the Diplomats. 

F&M returns to action on Friday when the Diplomats take part in the Penn State Harrisburg Invitational at the Dauphin Highlands
