Diplomats, Warner Win F&M Invite

LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall took the top three spots and shot a season-low round of 289 to capture the team championship at the F&M Spring Invitational on Monday. Cameron Warner placed first with a 70 on the par 71 course at Bent Creek Country Club. 

F&M has finished in the top two spots, including six titles, in eight of its ten events this season. 

Danny Liebowitz (71) and Robert Svigals (72) finished second and third, respectively, in the 76-player tournament.  Kevin Goserud found himself in a six-way tie for ninth place with a 76.  Brendan Mohler carded 78 to round out the Diplomats five.

F&M's white team was led by Dave Gilbert who finished in a three-way at sixth with a 75.  Henry Richards shot 76 to place ninth and Jeremy Rubin finished in 15th with a 77.  Harry Russell (16th) shot 78 and Jin Hwang wrapped up the Diplomats five with an 80 to place 26th

Mike Levenson (82) and Zach Bereznak (91) competed as individuals for F&M.

The Diplomats return to the course on Thursday when F&M travels to the Oak Hill Country Club for an event hosted by the University of Rochester.
