Series History: Saturday's game marks the 15th time F&M and Juniata have convened on the gridiron and the 11th time since Juniata attained associate membership status in the Centennial Conference. F&M has won all 11 meetings since the Eagles landed in the league, including a 52-7 victory last season. F&M's 29-12 win in Huntingdon in 2007 rekindled the rivalry after a 21-year hiatus. The first two contests were played in Lancaster - 61 years apart. The Diplomats won the first game played back on Oct. 18, 1924, by a 27-0 margin.

Last Time We Met: Franklin & Marshall cruised to a 52-7 victory over Juniata in last year's matchup. Complete release.

Tanner Erisman completed 21-of-25 passes for 312 yards and two scores and added another 48 yards on 10 rushes with another pair of touchdowns. K.J. Pretty led the wideouts with 208 yards on eight grabs with one touchdown. The 208 yards was the fifth best-receiving performance in program history.

Taylor Collison racked up 83 yards on four runs with one touchdown, Taalib Gerald had 57 yards on the ground with two scores, and Nick Leone finished the day with 44 yards on two carries.

Ben Okun led the way on defense with six solo stops while Marlen Fenstermacher and Frank McGlinchey finished with four stops each. Stevie Gerovasilis had three stops with one interception, Bobby McDevitt recorded three tackles, two for a loss, while Dylan JonesJoe Granahan, and Jackson Hale all finished with two sacks. Vincent Speranza had a sack and a fumble recovery for the Diplomats.

CC POTW: Senior quarterback Tanner Erisman was named the Centennial Conference (CC) Offensive Player of the Week, announced on Sunday. The honor was the first for Erisman in his career and the first for a member of the F&M football team this season.

Erisman (Washington Boro, Pa.) completed 15-of-20 passes for 288 yards and four touchdowns while running for 28 yards and another score in the Diplomats' 44-21 win vs. Lebanon Valley. His TD aerials covered 4, 68, 60 and 31 yards.

F&M Last Week: No. 24 Franklin & Marshall picked up its fifth-straight opening day victory over Lebanon Valley with a 44-21 win over the Dutchmen in the 2018 season opener for both teams.

Tanner Erisman finished the day completing 15-of-20 passes for 288 yards and four touchdowns. He added another 28 with one score on the ground. Keshon Farmer led all rushers with 96 yards on eight runs and score.

K.J. Pretty had a game-high 175 receiving yards on five grabs with two scores of 60 and 66 yards. Timothy Walter had 71 yards on five catches with a touchdown and Kevin Lammers ended with four catches and 30 yards.

Sebastian Silva-Muniz paced the defense with five stops while Steven Levondosky and Dylan Jones had four tackles and one sack each. Brendan KilkennyMekhi Holley, and Marlen Fenstermacher all had three stops. Kevin Gault added a sack and Thomas Hourican, along with Fenstermacher, each came away with half a sack.

Juniata Last Week: Juniata suffered a 38-23 loss on their road opener at Grove City.

The Eagle offense was fairly balanced as Austin Montgomery was 20-of-33 with 261 yards through the air and two touchdowns, he added 45 yards rushing as well. Jake Wertz ran 15 times for 71 yards and a score. Daulton Snyder had six catches for 85 yards and one touchdown while Sean Owens had four receptions for 68 yards and a score. AJ Brocato added four catches for 55 yards.  

Joel Reighard totaled 12 tackles and added a pass breakup while Dan Drop Jr. had six total tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble. Jamel Foster had six tackles and a sack.
