LANCASTER, Pa. – Former Franklin & Marshall student-athlete James Nelson '17 will represent the United States at the 2018 World Rowing Championship after being named to the 72-person roster by USRowing.
The World Championship is set for Sept. 9-16 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Nelson, an Austin, Texas native, will represent the U.S. in the Lightweight Men's Quadruple Sculls boat.
A three-time All-Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference (MARC) Varsity selection for the Diplomats, Nelson also landed on the MARC Academic Honor Roll twice in his collegiate career.
