The game against CNU would be the first in series history and if F&M faces LBC, it would be the fourth meeting with F&M holding a 3-1 edge in the all-time series.

F&M in the Tournament: F&M returns to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2015-16 after receiving one of 21 coveted at-large berths. F&M finished the regular season with a 20-6 mark and advanced to its 21st Centennial Conference Tournament in the 25-year history of the conference. The Diplomats fell by just one point to eventual CC Champions Johns Hopkins. F&M has advanced to the round of 16 on 16 occasions, made the Elite Eight 10 times, and advanced to the Four Final five times with one title game appearance in 1990-91.

All-CC: Three members of the Franklin & Marshall men's basketball team were recognized by the Centennial Conference (CC) on Wednesday afternoon. Brandon Federici was named Player of the Year and earned First Team All-CC honors, J.C. McGrath landed on the second team and Matthew Tate received honorable mention.

Federici joined Georgio Milligan '12 as the only two players in the history of the conference to earn first team honors all four seasons.  The honor also brings F&M total to 31 first team selections and 10 Player of the Year honors in the 25-year history of the CC, which is most in the conference.

The honor is the third postseason award for Federici so far this year. He was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) All-District 4 Men's Basketball Team for the third straight year and was named a finalist for the prestigious Jostens Trophy for the second time in his career.

Federici (Morganville, N.J. / Lawrenceville School) leads the Conference with a 19.7 points per game average and is seventh in steals per game at 1.4. Federici has reached several career milestones this season and is now both F&M and the Centennial's active leader in career points (2,023). He has scored 20 or more points in 14 contests this year, including a season-high 32 against Misericordia on Nov. 15.

McGrath (Newark, Del. / Munich International School) moved up a team after earning honorable mention last season. He has averaged 12.7 points per game and 6.8 rebounds. The junior scored in double-figures in 18 games with five double-doubles and had a career-high 22 boards against Washington on Jan. 11.

Tate (Greenwich, Conn. / Greens Farms Academy) made the All-CC Team for the first time in his career. The senior averages 14 points and 3.8 assists per game. He scored in double-figures in 18 games this season, including six games with 20 or more points. Tate netted a career-high 35 points in an 80-77 win against Ursinus earlier this season and is second in the conference with 2.2 steals per game.

Jostens Finalist: Franklin & Marshall senior Brandon Federici was named a finalist for the prestigious Jostens Trophy, announced on Tuesday. The honor was the second for Federici in his career and he is the only player in program history to be named a finalist. Click here to read the full release.

20-Win Plateau: F&M reached the 20-win plateau for the 28th time in head coach Glenn Robinson's 47 seasons. It was also the eighth time in 10 seasons that the Diplomats have reached that milestone.

Two Grand: Brandon Federici became the first player in F&M and Centennial history to reach 2,000 points, and one of just 120 players from all of Division III since 1975 to hit the milestone, when he tallied 14 points against Swarthmore on Feb. 17.

Federici has reached several career milestones this season and is now both F&M and the Centennial's active leader in career points (2,010).

Outstanding In His Field: Glenn Robinson improved his career win total to 950 this season. Already the winningest coach in Division III history, he is in third place for career NCAA wins and trails only Herb Magee of Philadelphia University and Duke's Mike Krzyzewski.

Tickets: Tickets prices are $15 for reserved seating, $10 for general admission, $5 for all students and seniors. Tickets will be available for purchase starting on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. by calling 757.594.7880 or onsite before the game.
