LANCASTER, Pa. – Tyler Daley was named the Centennial Conference (CC) Player of the Week announced Monday. It is Daley's first-career honor and second consecutive week a Diplomat has received recognition, as Alex Guerra and Dan Marano swept the Awards last week.
Daley batted at a .545 clip in a 3-1 week for F&M. The Diplomats' sophomore outfielder scored six runs, including three against Arcadia on Sunday, and collected six hits with two doubles through four games. His on-base percentage was .615, while his slugging-percentage sat at .727. He also drew a walk and stole a base.
F&M returns to Centennial Conference (CC) action tomorrow, hosting Gettysburg at Clipper Magazine Stadium, home of the Lancaster Barnstormers, at 3:30 p.m. It will mark the first of two contests the Diplomats will play at the stadium this season, also facing off against Ursinus on Friday, April 10.
