The Diplomats open with a doubleheader against Gallaudet on Sunday, a team F&M has never faced, before taking on Grinnell for another doubleheader on Monday.
Later in the week, the Diplomats square off with a pair of teams for the first time in program history in Southern Vermont and Babson, followed by Centenary, who holds a 2-0 series advantage. The rest of the slate features a trio of schools that F&M has never taken on in Plattsburg St., Fredonia St., and Trinity (Conn.).

Winter Woes: The harsh winter has continued to cause havoc to F&M's schedule, and has forced another round of changes. The Diplomats game against York, originally scheduled for this Thursday at 3:00 p.m., has been postponed. A makeup date for Sunday, April 19th at 2:00 p.m. was announced.
Also, F&M was originally slated to take on Arcadia on March 3 on the road, but the matchup was postponed. The contest has been moved to Caplan Field on Sunday, March 29 at 12:30 p.m.
Milestones to Watch: Alex Guerra enters the season with 12 wins in his career, a mark that places him just eight shy of the F&M record. The program's all-time leader is Ted Serro '06 with 20. Chris Matthewson (42) and Andrew Green (41) are both closing in on the career appearances record, sitting in seventh and eighth respectively. The record belongs to Nathan Diercks '02 with 58.
Players to Watch: F&M's trio of talented captain leaders in Guerra, Matt Mezansky and Brett Poniros were all named to the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Players to Watch list for 2015. Guerra again figures to anchor the starting rotation after leading the team in wins, complete games, ERA and strikeouts, while Mezansky and Poniros are expected to contribute at the top of the order and with their stellar defense in the field. Poniros produced a .918 fielding percentage at the always demanding shortstop position, while Mezansky registered an .886 clip at the hot corner.
