LANCASTER, Pa. – Five of Franklin & Marshall's Centennial Conference (CC) Tournament-eligible teams qualified for this week's Playoffs in their respective sports.
Men's tennis opens postseason play on Tuesday as the Tournament's No. 4 seed and is set to host No. 5 Washington at 5:30 p.m. in Lancaster. Women's tennis (No. 5 seed) travels to No. 4 seed Washington on Wednesday for a 4:00 p.m. First Round contest. Also on Wednesday, No. 3 seeded men's lacrosse travels to No. 2 Dickinson in the CC Semifinals for a 7:00 p.m. matchup.
Baseball makes a return to the CC Postseason as the No. 4 seed and will travel to No. 1 Swarthmore on Thursday to open the double-elimination tournament at 3:00 p.m.
As the No. 1 seed, women's lacrosse begins its Playoffs on Saturday in the CC Semifinals at 12:00 p.m., taking on the winner of No. 4 Haverford and No. 5 Dickinson, who face off on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
For the ninth consecutive year, the Diplomats earned a place in the CC Playoffs. F&M is in search of its first CC Title and enters the Tournament as the No. 4 seed after compiling a 9-8, 6-3 CC record.
A conference championship gives the CC Title winner an automatic qualification for the NCAA Division III Championships, contested in Claremont, Calif., from May 21-26.

F&M garnered its fifth straight CC Playoff appearance after finishing the regular season with a 9-7, 6-4 CC record to claim the tournament's No. 5 seed.
The NCAA Championships will also take place at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center in Claremont, Calif., from May 21-26.

The Diplomats are back in the Tournament for the first time since the 2015 season and are in search of their first CC Title since the 2013 season. F&M enters play as the No. 4 seed after totaling an 18-16-2 overall record with a 10-7-1 mark in CC competition.
A Conference Title would award the Diplomats a place in the NCAA Regionals, which begin the third weekend in May.

Another successful campaign earned the Diplomats their third straight trip to the CC Tournament. F&M put together a 12-3, 6-2 CC mark in the regular season to claim the No. 3 seed and will travel for Wednesday's Semifinal matchup. The highest remaining seed will serve as the host for Saturday's Championship game, which is slated for a 1:00 p.m. start.
The Diplomats aim to defend their 2017 Title and reclaim the CC's automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament, which opens with the First Round on Tuesday, May 8.

A 15-3 overall record, including a flawless 9-0 CC mark, gave F&M the top seed in the CC Tournament. As a result, the Diplomats, who qualified for their 16th Centennial Playoffs in the last 17 seasons, will host both Semifinals on Saturday and the CC Championship on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
F&M is looking to defend its 2017 CC Title and earn the Conference's automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament, which begins with the First Round on Saturday, May 12.
