LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall's Student-Athlete Leadership Council (SALC) hosted their annual Track-or-Treat event at the Alumni Sports & Fitness Center (ASFC) on Monday evening.
Track-or-Treat takes place on the upper indoor track at the ASFC around every Halloween to provide the youth of the surrounding community a safe environment to trick-or-treat. Kids were entertained with games that were organized by the student-athletes, as well as prizes, a balloon artist, fresh-popped popcorn, and much more.
Students from the school's 27 varsity sports, several club sports teams and some of the College Houses were involved with the planning and/or facilitating of the event. Other supporters of the event included ACE The Party Place, Hammond's Old-Fashioned Pretzels, and Harrisburg Dairies.
More than 160 trick-or-treaters attended the ever-growing event that saw one of its highest-ever turnouts.
SALC is F&M's version of the NCAA-mandated Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). For further information on Franklin & Marshall's SALC, click here.
