LANCASTER, Pa. - Schedules for Franklin & Marshall's winter athletic teams have been announced and are available for viewing at GoDiplomats.com. Click on the links above to access each team's 2017-18 slate of contests.

F&M opens its 2017-18 campaign on the road against Misericordia, the defending MAC Champions, on Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 8:00 p.m. The William Marshall Tip-Off Tournament begins on Friday, Nov. 17 against Bethany at 7:30 p.m. Lancaster Bible and Alvernia also compete in the tournament with the Consolation (5:30 p.m.) and Championship (7:30 p.m.) games set for Saturday evening.
Centennial Conference (CC) competition picks up on Tuesday, Nov. 21 with an 8:00 p.m. road tilt against Gettysburg. The Sponaugle New Years Tournament is set to run from Dec. 29-30 and features Randolph, Hartwick, and Delaware Valley with the Consolation game at 5:30 p.m. and the Championship at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The CC Playoffs begin with the First Round on Wednesday, Feb. 21 and the Semifinals and Championship occurring on Feb. 23-24.
Women's basketball begins its season with the annual Terry Greene Tip-Off Classic, hosting Immaculata on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 3:00 p.m. Elizabethtown and Stevens will also take part in the tournament with the Consolation (1:00 p.m.) and Championship (3:00 p.m.) games set for Sunday afternoon.
The Diplomats travel to Gettysburg on Tuesday, Nov. 21 to begin CC play at 6:00 p.m. while the Conference Playoffs open with the First Round on Wednesday, Feb. 21 and the Semifinals and Championship set for Feb. 23-24.
Men's and Women's Squash
Both teams start off 2017-18 at home against Virginia on Sunday, Nov. 5 at 12:30 p.m. New to each team's schedules is the Pennsylvania Cup, which is set to take place in Philadelphia on Saturday, Nov. 11th and starts off with a match for both teams against Penn. at 11:00 a.m.
The women's CSA Team Championships will be hosted by Harvard and are set for Feb. 16-18, while the men will compete in the tournament the following weekend at Trinity. George Washington will be the site of the CSA Individual Championships for both the men's and women's squads and will take place from March 2-4.
Men's and Women's Track & Field
F&M's upcoming indoor track & field season begins at home on Sunday, Dec. 3 with the Diplomat Open. Six meets follow, including the annual Coach I Open on Saturday, Jan. 13th, before the Centennial Conference (CC) Indoor Championships, which are being hosted by Ursinus, and are slated to take place on Feb. 24-25.
Men's and Women's Swimming
The men's and women's swimming programs open 2017-18 by traveling to York to face both the Spartans and Messiah on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 1:00 p.m. CC competition starts on Saturday, Oct. 28 when the Diplomats travel to Washington for a 1:00 p.m. meet.
On Nov. 17-19, the annual Franklin & Marshall Invitational will take place at the Alumni Sports and Fitness Center while the CC Championships will once again be contested in Lancaster and are set to run from Feb. 22-25.
A change to the CC Championships format this year now has the event spaced out over a span of four days, in order to spread out relay races. Thursday evening will feature both the 200-medley and 800-free relays while Friday through Sunday will only have one relay per day in addition to the individual events.
The Diplomats are currently set to compete in 15 dual meets to go along with several tournaments as the Diplomats prepare for the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association (EIWA) Championships, which are hosted by Hofstra on March 3-4.
Four of those dual matches will occur on Dec. 29-30 at the South Beach Duals in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. against Binghamton, North Dakota St., Michigan St. and Rider.
The fifth annual David H. Lehman F&M Open is set for Saturday, Jan. 6 at the ASFC, while the NCAA Championships are taking place in Cleveland, Ohio on March 15-17.
