LANCASTER, Pa. – A total of 19 Franklin & Marshall student-athletes, representing six sports, were named to the 2017 Centennial Conference (CC) Winter Academic Honor Roll, while Brandon Federici and J.C. McGrath of the men's basketball team and Sarah Haddon of the women's basketball team all earned Academic All-Centennial.
To make Academic Honor Roll list, student-athletes must be a sophomore or higher in standing and have a cumulative GPA of 3.40 or above.
Women's swimming led the way with seven representatives while the men's track & field team was next with four. Men's basketball had three members of its team garner the distinction, followed by men's swimming and women's track & field with two each. Women's basketball also had one student-athlete land on the list.
To be nominated for All-Centennial, a student-athlete must receive both All-Conference and Academic Honor Roll honors. A total of 59 student-athletes throughout the conference were recognized with the honor. Federici garnered the award for the second consecutive year, while McGrath and Haddon were named to the list for the first time.
