Crawley Third; Heading to Nationals

NEWVILLE, Pa. – Sheena Crawley finished third to pace the Franklin & Marshall women's cross country team to a 19th place finish at the 2012 Mideast Regionals hosted by Dickinson College. The race featured 346 runners from 52 institutions. 

The third place finish qualifies Crawley for her third consecutive NCAA National Championship next Saturday at the LaVern Gibson Course in Terre Haute, Ind.

The senior finished the 6k course in 22:05 to earn All-Region honors for the third time. Johns Hopkins' Hannah Oneda took the top spot with a time of 21:34.7.

Julia Zielinski finished in 24:53 (90th) and Jessica Love took 125th with a 25:27.  Kara Doolan (25:52.9) and Mallory Reed (25:59.8) finished in the top half of the field while Rachel Weiss (26:29.4) and Kim Hilfrank (26:47) rounded out the F&M team.
