F&M Captures Third at York Invitational
YORK, Pa. - Lauren Dever, Kimberly Hilfrank and Grace Thompson each put together top-20 finishes to lead the Franklin & Marshall women's cross country team to third place at the York Invitational on Saturday. The Diplomats totaled 89 points to secure third, while Goucher (21) and York (43) finished first and second, respectively.
Dever was the first Diplomat to cross the line in 25:26.48 to take 11th place. Kimberly Hilfrank was next in 19th with a mark of 26:03.12, followed by Grace Thompson in 20th at 26:14.08.
Bridget Grogan completed the race in 26:24.58 for a 22nd-place finish, while Mary Kate Shelley rounded out the F&M scoring with a time of 26:35.17 to take 24th.
F&M returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 1 at the Don Cathcart Invitational hosted by Salisbury University at 9:45 am.
